Asfur Angelfish

The juveniles of this stunning species are dark blue overall, with alternating stripes of white and light blue. The tail is yellow and there is often a swath of yellow along the back in juveniles. Adults are a brilliant metallic blue overall, with a black face, a yellow tail and a yellow curved bar on the body. This species is quite shy when first introduced to the aquarium and should be provided with plenty of suitable hiding places. It will begin to cautiously accept food until it has acclimated.
