The Canary Blenny, also known as the Oualan Forktail Blenny or Canary Fang Blenny, boasts a vibrant solid yellow color. Males are typically larger than females and undergo a series of color changes during breeding.

In order to thrive, the Canary Blenny requires a minimum tank size of 30 gallons with live rock for grazing and hunting. It's recommended to keep only one per tank, unless maintaining a breeding pair. The Canary Blenny will defend itself against attackers by biting the inside of their mouth and is considered venomous. Therefore, it should be kept with caution around children who have access to the tank, as the blenny may perceive fingers as an attacker and deliver a similarly painful bite.

The Canary Blenny's diet should consist of finely chopped crustacean flesh, mysis, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, and frozen herbivore preparations.
