The Sleeper Blue Dot Goby, also known as the Ladder Glider, Ladder Goby, or Sixspot Sleeper Goby, boasts a striking appearance with a white body adorned with bright blue spots beneath its eyes and mouth.

To ensure the well-being of this fish, it requires appropriate care and accommodation. Providing a 30-gallon or larger aquarium with live sand as the substrate, along with an attached populated refugium, is essential for their thriving. Although it is generally non-aggressive towards other fish, this goby can display territorial behavior and may engage in conflicts with its own kind, unless they form a mated pair.

A notable feature of the Sleeper Blue Dot Goby is its feeding behavior. This goby predominantly feeds off the bottom of the aquarium, sifting through the sand to consume mouthfuls of substrate and the organisms residing within it. Maintaining a varied diet is crucial, which should include live and frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared foods suitable for carnivores. Frequent feedings will support its nutritional needs and overall health.
