The Bicolor Foxface, also known as the Bicolored Foxface or Uspi Spinefoot, boasts a distinctive body coloration with a striking contrast. The anterior two-thirds of its body dons a rich dark brown hue, while the posterior one-third shines in vibrant yellow.

Providing a 125-gallon or larger aquarium is essential to accommodate the Bicolor Foxface comfortably. Known for its peaceful demeanor, this species may exhibit aggression only towards other rabbitfish. However, it can coexist with more aggressive fish without issues. The presence of venomous dorsal spines serves as a defense mechanism, deterring potential predators from bothering it. As a general rule, well-fed Bicolor Foxface will leave most corals alone. However, if underfed, there is a possibility of nipping at and consuming certain species of LPS and soft corals.

In terms of diet, the Bicolor Foxface requires a varied selection of fresh vegetables and algae. While it mostly feeds on these plant-based foods, it may occasionally nip at soft and hard coral polyps. Properly nourishing the Bicolor Foxface with its preferred diet will reduce the likelihood of any unwanted coral damage.
