The Leopard Wrasse, also known as the Guinea Fowl Wrasse or Blackspotted Wrasse, exhibits two distinct appearances based on gender. Females display a white body adorned with multiple black or brown irregular spots, accented with white to blue margins that cover their entire body. Additionally, the female's fins may have touches of yellow or tan. On the other hand, males feature an orangish-red background color with green mottling covering their body.

For the proper care of the Leopard Wrasse, it is recommended to house them in a 90-gallon or larger aquarium with well-established live rock and a layer of live sand. To ensure their well-being, it's best to introduce them in groups of three or more. Their diet primarily consists of small invertebrates such as foraminiferans and amphiopods that grow on live rock.

To maintain the health and vibrancy of the Leopard Wrasse, their diet should include vitamin-enriched frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and other meaty foods. Additionally, offering high-quality marine flake and marine pellet food will help supplement their nutritional requirements.

By providing a suitable environment and a well-balanced diet, you can enjoy the beauty and fascinating behavior of the Leopard Wrasse in your aquarium.
